Sala Sihombing

Sala completed her LLB (Hons) at the University of Bristol and qualified as a solicitor in England in 1996 and in Hong Kong in 1996. In 1998, Sala left private practice and and worked as an in-house counsel for Peregrine and then Credit Agricola Indosuez. In 2000, she joined Morgan Stanley and worked in the Equity Division in Hong Kong for 11 years.

Sala left investment banking to pursue an LLM in Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University and returned to Hong Kong to start an ADR practice. Sala is a general and family mediator and family mediation supervisor (HKMAAL) and is NMAS registered. Sala also teaches in the LLM ADR programme at the University of Hong Kong.

Robyn Hooworth

GMI Co-founder & Director

Robyn completed her BSW (Hons) at the University of Queensland in 1978. She worked as a Senior Court Conciliator in the Family Court for 5 years in the Canberra and Brisbane Registries before training as a general and family mediator in the USA in 1987.

Robyn has worked in Private Practice as a family mediator / FDRP in Hong Kong and on the Gold Coast for the past 30 years.

Robyn is an accredited general / NMAS and family mediator / FDRP. She is a mediation trainer, assessor, supervisor and coach with the Centre for Dispute Resolution, Faculty of Law, Bond University and with The College of Law, Australia in their Family Dispute Resolution programme. Robyn also teaches in the LLM ADR programme at the University of Hong Kong.
